摘要
Wudangshan are rich in geological relics and historical sites and its ecological environment is beautiful. Wudangshan ancient group-complex which is the important part of Nanqinling orogenic belt has important scientific value. The World Cultural Heritage-Ancient Building Complex in Wudangshan is famous for rich historical sites. There are more than a dozen of national, provincial and municipal nature reserve of forest ecology and forest park in the area. Accordance to the requirements of World Geoparks Network guidelines and standards, Wudangshan has the qualifications for declaring world geological park.
