To ascertain the time of gas charging and the formation period of gas reservoirs in the Lower Paleozoic Majiagou Formation of Sulige area, samples of reservoir fluid inclusions were tested and analyzed, using the more advanced testing apparatus and techniques. The results show that the Lower Paleozoic reservoirs of Sulige region have been in the development of three types of fluid inclusions: brine inclusions containing liquid hydrocarbon inclusions and liquid hydrocarbon inclusions. The data of fluid inclusions and the burial history show two periods: from the end of the Late Triassic to Early Jurassic (190 ~ 215 Ma) and Late Jurassic (150~160 Ma), and the period from the end of the Late Triassic to Early Jurassic (150~160 Ma) was the most important gas accumulation period in the Lower Paleozoic reservoirs of Sulige region.
