Full Wavefield Modeling and Its Application in the Geometry Design of Deep Marine Rock Seismic Exploration in the Western Sichuan Province

In the marine exploration of the western Sichuan Province, the geological models of the area were built by combining the geological understanding. On the basis of the previous exploration engineering designs, seismic acquisition parameters and optimizes geometry were designed by utilizing the Tesseral 2-D full wavefield wave equation for forward calculation. The acquisition data demonstrated that desirable geological results had been achieved. At the end of the paper, in order to provide some good references to the future marine exploration of this region, some suggestions were given by evaluating adaptability of the acquisition method.
