///Using the CCSM2.0-simulated the precipitation, temperature, 500 hPa geopotential heights, 850 hPa and 200 hPa winds, NCEP reanalysis data, GPCP precipitation reanalysis data and reconstructed precipitation data in Delingha, Qinghai Province, the precipitation and atmospheric circulation characteristics were investigated over Eastern China during the period of May to September in the past millennium. The results show that the simulated precipitation and 500 hPa geopotential heights can represent the typical spatial characteristics of the current climate under the influences of nature and anthropic activity forcing factors, there is a significant positive correlation between the precipitation and temperature over Eastern China, where the correlation coefficient is 0.46 with a 95 % confidence level.
