This paper studies rock characteristics, diagenesis, reservoir spaces and main control factors of Mesozoic clastic reservoirs in Chengdao region. The results indicate that the Mesozoic clastic reservoirs have experienced strong compaction pressure solution, replacement, dissolution and packing action as well as crack formation. The reservoirs are controlled by sedimentation, diagenesis and tectonic effects, among which deposition is the main controlling factor, followed by tectonism, and diagenesis is the minimum. Consideration of sedimentation, tectonism and diagenesis, the Mesozoic clastic reservoirs have been divided into four types, of which typeⅠis the best, followed by type Ⅱ1, Ⅱ2 and Ⅱ3, and type Ⅲ and Ⅳ are the lowest porosity and permeability reservoir.
