An Analysis of Pore Fluid Sensitivity Parameters in Reef Limestone Reservoirs: Taking Callovian-Oxfordian Carbonate Reef Reservoirs in the Amu Darya Right Bank Block, Turkmenistan as an Example
Analysis and extraction of sensitivity parameters of reservoir fluids are the basis of seismic interpretation, inversion and reservoir fluid identification. The test results show that seismic responses are significantly different from samples saturated with different fluids. Further analysis shows that the Lame constant parameter is relatively sensitive to gas. Finally, the gas-sensitive fluid recognition factors obtained from laboratory testing are used to perform quantitative cross-plot analysis of the log data in the study area. The results show that this method is effective in differentiating gas-bearing from water-bearing reef limestone reservoirs.
