摘要

It’s a volcanic formation that exits in Jiamuhe Formation of Kebai Area in Junggar Basin. Through the analyses of both the geological and seismic data of Jiamuhe Formation, the relationship between these two kinds of facieses is established. And furthermore four types of volcanic facies assemblages and the corresponding four types of seismic facies are recognized. The response relation of the above two facieses shows that high amplitudes are existed in the volcanic rocks. The standard to differentiate burst facies from overflow facies is the continuity of seismic reflection and the variation of the amplitudes. The continuity of the overflow facies’ seismic reflection is better than that of burst facies, and the amplitude intensity of the overflow facies is stronger than that of burst facies.
