摘要
In this paper, the depositional characteristics of Shawan formation in Neogene of Chepaizi area were researched. The results show that the depositional system of Shawan Formation is braided river delta-lacustrine facies and the sedimentary deposit comes from northwestern Zaire Hill. The microfacies of well Pai 2 is underwater distributary channel deposit but not beach or bar. The sedimentary facies is typical of northwest-southeast distribution. Vertically, the sedimentary facies have undergone changes from braided river delta front subfacies to longshore shallow lacustrine subfacies to braided river delta plain subfacies.
