Based on seismic sections, the drilling and other data of central uplift area, the structural characteristics and evolution of central uplift area in Cambrian were studied. Tarim Basin entered the environment of regional extension from Sinian, in the Early and Middle Cambrian, the basin inherited the tectonic framework of Sinian and developed a series of half graben rifts, which controlled the development of strata and the distribution of sedimentary facies of central uplift area in a small range. Combined with Cambrian basic reservoir formation conditions of central uplift area, the favorable hydrocarbon domains were pointed out, which mainly included domain of structural traps, high part of uplift, the Upper Cambrian of Guchengxu uplift and lithologic-stratigraphic trap in the half graben.
