///On the basis of the research results, the review study was made for the Xiuyan M_s5.4 earthquake in 1999 by the developed RTL algorithm. The results showed that the time scanning and spatial scanning of RTL existed obvious short term anomalies. The anomalous area covered the coming epicentral region.
