Geological Characteristics and Prospecting Direction of Tungsten Deposit in Damingshan Region of
Tungsten deposits in Damingshan region of Guangxi province are classified to stratum type, net-vein and disseminated type, porphyry type and quartz-vein type. The stratum type is controlled by Devonian and Cambrian rock layers. The net-vein and disseminated type is controlled by NW and NE faults. The porphyry type is located in muscovite grano-porphyry body of later Yanshan period. The quartz-vein type is controlled by fractures of different directions. For tungsten is rich inheritedly, fault activity is the important condition to control tungsten deposit. This paper summarizes basic geological characteristics of tungsten deposits.
