 The geological survey in southern Anhui Province has been very difficult due to high mountain and highly dense forests. Geological exploration is relatively poor and there has been no great progress achieved in gold prospecting. This research, focusing on the Tianjingshan gold deposit in south Anhui Province, studied the geological settings and geochemistry, analyzed various factors related to gold mineralization, and finally discussed the exploration prospect. The field investigation in the Tianjinshan, combined with the deployed engineering at the Xiaohe ore section, suggests that this area is of good metallogenic prospect and potential for ore finding.
