Geological disasters take place frequently in Changsha City, Hunan Province. Based on introducing the physical geography and geological environment, expounding the developing features and forming conditions of geological hazards, this paper analyzed the development of geological hazards in Changsha City, put forward feasible preventing countermeasures for geological hazards, and provided scientific basis for geological hazard prevention and sustainable development of regional economy and society.
