摘要
A series of collections of corals was made in the upper Baiyun’an Formation at the Sanbaiti and Laoliziya sections of southern Huaying City, eastern Sichuan Province. 14 genera and 15 species of corals were identified, including tabulates (7 genera and 8 species), heliolitoid corals (1 genus and species) and rugose corals (6 genera and 6 species), all of which are figured and systematically described in this paper. According to the coral data, a similar age to the Sifengya Formation (late Aeronian-earliest Telychian) of northeastern Yunnan Province is proposed for the upper Baiyun’an Formation.
