摘要
In northern Guizhou Province, the bauxite-bearing strata are complex, characterized by highly varied buried depths of ore bodies and various kinds of ore structures. It is a prior issue how to enhance quality and efficiency of drilling, reduce production costs and obtain the best economic benefits in the exploration of bauxite deposits. During the long-term drilling practice, the authors have considered the different features in strata and ores of northern Guizhou Province and employed an integrated method to solve the aforementioned issue, involving equipment choice, drilling technology and quality control. The efforts have achieved good results in actual drilling work and met the requirement of geological survey to a great degree. This paper makes a systematic summary of this work and suggests some optimal measures in the technology which can serve as reference for survey in other bauxite deposits.
