摘要
Dushan jade is one of the famous jades recorded in historic literatures and it is favored by the people for its color and toughness and the colorful handicrafts with natural beauty made from it.The orebodies of Dushan jade occur in gabbro rock in small scale,which belong to small vein type orebody unevenly distributed but occurring in group,often forming concentrated jade vein zones.The mineral composition of Dushan jade mainly consists of basic plagioclase and zoisite,with chrome mica,diopside,albite,acanticonite,actynolite and biotite,etc.The colors of the jade are determined by the mineral compositions.The content of trace elements including TiO2、Cr2O3 in the jade is associated with the jade color.The geological characteristics,mineral assemblage and chemical composition of Dushan jade orebody are relatively special.It is believed that there are mineral resource potential at the east part of the region and prospecting priority should be taken in Jihe-Dapengyao basic to ultro-basic rock zone,based on the analysis on geological characteristics,jade composition,workability,prospecting indicators.
