MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class=MsoNormal>man">Through analyzing the deep oil and the GC-MS of aromatic hydrocarbon of hydrocarbon source rock in the deep layer in north area of Dongpu Depression, this paper identifies two hundreds of aromatic hydrocarbon chemical compounds and determines the effective index for the application of aromatic hydrocarbon biomarkers in petroleum geology. Study shows that in the aromatic composition of this area, the high content of tricyelic aromatic hydrocarbon is the main composition, the eontent of aromatic steroid compound is high in the shallow layer, dibenzothiophene is obvious in three fluorine series. The compound ratio values of tri-aromatie sterane parameter, methylphenanthrene index and alkyldibcnzothiophene are usefal indexes in the study of heat evolution characteristics of organic matter in this area.
