摘要
Anomalous dynamic response means that final deflection of the structures may be in the direction opposite that of the load rather than in its direction.In this paper the anomalous be-haviors of circular plates subjected to short transverse pulse load is studied.The plate is assumed fixed-pinned along the boundary.There exists anomalous response in some narrow loading ran-ges，so called slots.By further calculations it is shown that this special dynamic behavior is relat-ed to coupling effects of internal forces and large plastic deformation after removal loading.Fur-ther plastic dissipation will belead toanomalous dynamic response.This phenomena could be considered as the coupling of the geometry nonlinearity，material nonlinearity，elastic effects and heirrecoverablef the plastic deformation.
