A three—dimensional baroclinic diagnostic circulation model in the Yellow and Bohai Seas is in troduced in this paper and an u merical simulation of the circulation is carried out．In the simulating study of the circulation in the Yel—
low and Bohai Seas in winter and summer．the influence facto rs such as wind stress，therm ohaline effect、and lateral bou ndary flu xaffecting the circulation are in cluded．From there sults，weanalyzc the character and the causes of the
density circulation of the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass (YSCWM) ，the Yellow
Sea Wa rm Current (YSWC) and the coastal current．
