摘要
The Lower Cambrian Chengjiang Lagerst atte.provides a wonderful window to explore theearly radiations of introverta.Introverta of the Chengjiang fauna constitutes an important component ofcorrtemporary benthic communities. Tylotites petiolaris Luo et Hu 1999 was previously assigned tolobopods. New material from another section with proboscis preserved confirms that it is an earlyintroverta. Detailed description of T. petiolaris is made and a new family Tylotitidae is erected herein.The long trunk spines of the animal indicate that T. petiolaris is an epifauna.
