摘要
Magnesite is generally a white to grey mineral but the colour, which may also be yellow, brown and black, is not a criterion of its purity. It consists of magnesium carbonate(MgCO3), generally found as earthy masses or irregular veins resulting from alteration of dolomitic or magnesium silicate rocks by magmatic solutions.
