Pyrazolo[1,5-a]Pyrimidine Derivative as Precursor for Some Novel Pyrazolo[1,5-a]Pyrimidines and Tetraheterocyclic Compounds

The latter was used as a precursor to synthesize several novel polyheterocyclic compounds ref="#jhet2590-eo-0021" rel="references:#jhet2590-eo-0021">, ref="#jhet2590-eo-0027" rel="references:#jhet2590-eo-0027">, ref="#jhet2590-eo-0030" rel="references:#jhet2590-eo-0030">, and ref="#jhet2590-eo-0031" rel="references:#jhet2590-eo-0031">. Treatment of the enamine derivative of compound ref="#jhet2590-eo-0003" rel="references:#jhet2590-eo-0003"> with each of hydrazine hydrate and lns:w="http://www.wiley.com/namespaces/wiley" xmlns:cr="urn://wiley-online-library/content/render" xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" id="jhet2590-eo-2004">lass="TH_term3">hydroxylamine hydrochloride yielded the tetraheterocyclic compounds ref="#jhet2590-eo-0034" rel="references:#jhet2590-eo-0034"> and ref="#jhet2590-eo-0035" rel="references:#jhet2590-eo-0035">, respectively. The structures of all the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed on basis of their elemental, spectral data, and plausible mechanism has been postulated to account for their formation. X-ray crystallography was carried out as a further evidence for the structure of the isolated product ref="#jhet2590-eo-0031" rel="references:#jhet2590-eo-0031">.
