Thus, reaction of mlns:w="http://www.wiley.com/namespaces/wiley" xmlns:cr="urn://wiley-online-library/content/render" xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" id="jhet2571-eo-0006">m3">2-bromo-1-(5-methyl-1-phenyl-1m>H m>-pyrazol-4-yl)ethanone (jhet2571-eo-0006" rel="references:#jhet2571-eo-0006">) with the corresponding thioamide derivatives jhet2571-eo-0008" rel="references:#jhet2571-eo-0008">,jhet2571-eo-0009" rel="references:#jhet2571-eo-0009">, in refluxing EtOH in the presence of triethylamine, afforded 4-pyrazolylthiazoles jhet2571-eo-0011" rel="references:#jhet2571-eo-0011 #jhet2571-eo-0012"> in good yields. On the other hand, the novel bis(thiazoles) jhet2571-eo-0060" rel="references:#jhet2571-eo-0060 #jhet2571-eo-0061 #jhet2571-eo-0062"> and jhet2571-eo-0071" rel="references:#jhet2571-eo-0071 #jhet2571-eo-0072 #jhet2571-eo-0073"> were obtained from the reaction of jhet2571-eo-0006" rel="references:#jhet2571-eo-0006"> with the corresponding benzaldehyde thiosemicarbazones jhet2571-eo-0055" rel="references:#jhet2571-eo-0055 #jhet2571-eo-0056 #jhet2571-eo-0057">, jhet2571-eo-0068" rel="references:#jhet2571-eo-0068 #jhet2571-eo-0069 #jhet2571-eo-0070"> in refluxing EtOH. Compounds jhet2571-eo-0055" rel="references:#jhet2571-eo-0055 #jhet2571-eo-0056 #jhet2571-eo-0057"> and jhet2571-eo-0068" rel="references:#jhet2571-eo-0068 #jhet2571-eo-0069 #jhet2571-eo-0070"> were obtained by condensation of the corresponding bis(aldehydes) jhet2571-eo-0050" rel="references:#jhet2571-eo-0050 #jhet2571-eo-0051 #jhet2571-eo-0052"> and jhet2571-eo-0065" rel="references:#jhet2571-eo-0065 #jhet2571-eo-0066 #jhet2571-eo-0067"> with mlns:w="http://www.wiley.com/namespaces/wiley" xmlns:cr="urn://wiley-online-library/content/render" xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" id="jhet2571-eo-0039">m3">thiosemicarbazide.
