Single crystals of two modifications of Fe<sub>2sub>SeO are grown in a CsCl flux using a 4:1:1:3 molar mixture of Fe, Se, SeO<sub>2sub>, and CsCl (evacuated silica tubes, 750 °C, 96 h; cooling to 500 °C over 96 h).
