In the Ni-catalyzed cross-coupling between (hetero)arylborons and unactivated bromodifluoroalkanes the combination of a bidentate bipyridine-based ligand, and a monodentate pyridine-based ligand provides an efficient catalytic system to prepare difluoroalkylated arenes.
