mplexes and benzene-1,3-dicarboxylates. The nodal properties of the dicarboxylate ligands and the side-by-side place
ment of the phenylene linkers
mutually insulate the conductive dirutheniu
m building blocks. This has the interesting consequence of rendering the oxidized for
ms para
magnetic, while the polyelectrochro
mis
