A layered coordination compound, [NH₄][Ag₃(C₉H₅NO₄S)₂(C₁₃H₁₄N₂)₂]⋅8 H₂O, was found to exhibit delamination/restacking behavior accompanied by crystalline–amorphous–crystalline transformations, which also coincides with the observation of room-temperature ferroelectric behavior.
