Back Cover: The thiophene–vinyl–thiophene (TVT) structure can be beneficial for improving the carrier mobility of a conjugated polymer in organic field-effect transistors (OFETs). With the vinyl linkage planted not only among the dithiophene units, but also between the thieno[3,4-c]pyrrole-4,6-dione (TPD) and thiophene, a “fully vinyl linked” conjugated polymer can be constructed. The C–H‥O H-bonds play an important part in enhancing the planarity of the polymer back bone and, therefore, the performance in OFETs. Such a synergic effect enables the hole mobility of the polymer to reach 0.4 cm2 V−1 s−1, which is excellent among the TPD-dithophene based conjugated polymers.
