A click-cross-linked small intestine submucosa (Cx-SIS) drug depot for methotrexate (Met) is developed for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) on page 3105 by Moon Suk Kim and co-workers. The Met-loaded Cx-SIS depot is successfully formed after intraarticular injection of click crosslinkable SIS, and this formulation induces long-lasting Met release and allows Met to act effectively in the articular joint, resulting in RA repair.
