Redox Chemistry. In their Communication on page 9168 ff., X. Lu, H.-C. Xu et al. describe the efficient electrochemical synthesis of highly functionalized indoles and azaindoles. Ferrocene is used as the redox catalyst, and the only theoretical byproduct is H2.
