Thickness dependence of magnetic properties and giant magneto-impedance effect in amorphous Co73Si12B15 thin films prepared by Dual-Ion beam assisted deposition

The relationship between film thickness and ΔZ/Z, ΔR/R, ΔX/X ratio of CoSiB film exhibits a complex behavior as the film thickness increases from 1.33 to 7.34 µm. The maximum value of GMI ratio is observed when the film thickness was 1.56, 2.48, 3.81 or 7.34 µm. With the increase of film thickness, the peak frequency shifts to lower frequency, but does not decrease following the t-power law. The above thickness phenomenon is due to the different magnetic properties of thin films. The Dual-Ion Beam Assisted Deposition is introduced to prepare the GMI materials.
