Generalized μ-τ reflection symmetry and leptonic CP violation

We propose a generalized 10175&_mathId=si1.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0370269315010175&_rdoc=1&_issn=03702693&md5=b72a2ffee6d709da3b1390c06cd07d70" title="Click to view the MathML source">μ–τ reflection symmetry to constrain the lepton flavor mixing parameters. We obtain a new correlation between the atmospheric mixing angle 10175&_mathId=si2.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0370269315010175&_rdoc=1&_issn=03702693&md5=3a1220333884c1da7e0d407633255637" title="Click to view the MathML source">θ23 and the “Dirac” CP violation phase 10175&_mathId=si3.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0370269315010175&_rdoc=1&_issn=03702693&md5=d1f745ce17efd3376686e6b5f6e75762" title="Click to view the MathML source">δCP. Only in a specific limit our proposed CP transformation reduces to standard 10175&_mathId=si1.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0370269315010175&_rdoc=1&_issn=03702693&md5=b72a2ffee6d709da3b1390c06cd07d70" title="Click to view the MathML source">μ–τ reflection, for which 10175&_mathId=si2.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0370269315010175&_rdoc=1&_issn=03702693&md5=3a1220333884c1da7e0d407633255637" title="Click to view the MathML source">θ23 and 10175&_mathId=si3.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0370269315010175&_rdoc=1&_issn=03702693&md5=d1f745ce17efd3376686e6b5f6e75762" title="Click to view the MathML source">δCP are both maximal. The “Majorana” phases are predicted to lie at their CP-conserving values with important implications for the neutrinoless double beta decay rates. We also study the phenomenological implications of our scheme for present and future neutrino oscillation experiments including T2K, NOνA and DUNE.
