Mild steel corrosion was studied in 1 M H2SO4 with and without bis-pyrimidine derivatives. Adsorption of bis-pyrimidine derivatives obeyed Langmuir isotherm. Weight loss, electrochemical and surface morphology were used for inhibition study. The inhibitors showed remarkable corrosion inhibition property at a relatively low concentration. In aqueous phase, quantum chemical parameters were correlated with experimental results.
