Cysteamine supplementation significantly decreases the post-thaw sperm motility. The sperm abnormality and MDA concentration were found highest in cysteamine treated samples. Cysteamine supplementation decreased acrosomal integrity and total antioxidant capacity of sperm. Cysteamine would not be a suitable antioxidant as a supplement in extender.
