HFR levels differed at different skin surface with palms ≈ back-of-hands > forearms. BDE209 and DBDPE were abundant and revealed high levels on skin surface. BDE209 and DPs levels were significantly reliable in three repeated measurements. Participants ‘gender, age and behaviors limitedly predicted HFR levels on hands. Dermal absorption would be an important human exposure route for HFRs.
