A sensor module capable of measuring strain and curvature is proposed. The module is made of silicone elastomer embedded with liquid metal sensing elements. A laser-based fabrication process is characterized and process variability is quantified. The sensor differentiates between positive and negative curvatures, and uniaxial strain.
