Thermal performance of a living wall in a dry climate of Australia was investigated. Surface of the living wall was cooler in the summer days and warmer in few hours in the cold days. The living wall had no cooling effect on the surrounding microenvironments. Recorded temperatures of wall behind the living wall was cooler than the surface behind the bare wall. Less heat was transferred into the adjacent building through the living wall.
