Synthesis of carbon loaded γ-Fe2O3 nanocomposite and their applicability for the selective removal of binary mixture of dyes by ultrasonic adsorption based on response surface methodology

γ-Fe2O3-NP-AC nanocomposites were synthesized by sol-gel method. FTIR, SEM, EDS and XRD were used to characterize the synthesized nanocomposites. Ultrasonicated adsorption process was preceded according to the central composite design (CCD). Optimum operating parameters for the selective removal were evaluated by RSM based on CCD. Selective removal of RR and MG dyes were achieved. ANOVA, Normal probability plots and Pareto charts were employed to estimate significance of factors and the model.
