The essential oil and phenolic compounds of endemic Sage were analyzed by GC–MS and LC–MS/MS. Antioxidant activities of the extract and essential oil were also carried out with two different methods. Remarkable correlation shown between phenolic compounds and antioxidant activity. Potential of Salvia veneris were determined for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries.
