Degradation of aflatoxin B1 was studied in alcohol-free fermentation broth. Aflatoxin decomposition was measured using Rhodococcus pyridinivorans K408 strain. Twelve-day incubation is needed to deconstruct 63% of toxin in solid phase of broth. Empirical function was found to describe aflatoxin degradation rate and growth of K408.
