Synthesis of novel Ag2O/α-Fe2O3 p-n heterojunctions via a solvothermal precipitation-deposition method. Ag2O/α-Fe2O3 heterojunctions consist of flower-like α-Fe2O3 microspheres and Ag2O nanoparticles. High and stable visible-light-driven photocatalytic activity for the degradation of organic pollutants (RhB/4-CP). The p-n heterojunction promotes the separation of photogenerated electrons and holes.
