Compound 5 exerted good radical scavenging activity and significant neuroprotective effect. Compounds 5 inhibit the Aβ aggregation with % values of 85.3%. Compound 5 exerted stronger inhibition against BuChE than rivastigmine at 1 μM. Compound 5 can form chelate with Cu2+.
