Solvation of solutes in water and in KH2PO4 aqueous solutions is an exothermic process.

All saccharides except 2de-Glc give negative values of partial molar isentropic compressibility.

Decrease in hydration number of solutes in the presence of KH2PO4 show its dehydration effect on the solutes.

Studies indicate the dominance of hydrophilicionic interactions and kosmotropic behavior of solutes in KH2PO4 solutions.
