Numerical study of the effects of stator boundary conditions and blade geometry on the efficiency of a scraped surface heat exchanger

3-D numerical simulations have been done to examine the thermal performance SSHE. Two common types of blade are considered to simulate pure glycerin in the SSHE. A new type of blade that was a combination of the vertical has been proposed. A heat flux with a linear increase along the heat exchanger gives the best results.
