This paper firstly reports an orogenic Au deposit in Zhangguangcai Range, NE China.
The deposit was formed during Late Permian–Triassic continental collision.
Ore-fluids were mesothermal, CO2-rich and low salinity.
Fluid boiling and mixing have caused gold and sulfide precipitation.
