We synthesized trans-functionalized porphyrin and study their self-assembly behaviors. Monodispersed nanoshperes and lateral aggregates of porphyrin-fullerene complexes were obtained as studied by using TEM. Effects of different parameters on morphology were studied. Screen printed electrodes were modified with these aggregates via drop costing method for electrochemical studies. Aggregates were used to study the DNA attachment for biosensing applications.
