This study revealed that K-form resins have higher selectivity than Na-form resins. The selectivity of strong-acid, gel, K-form resin was Ba > Sr > Ca > Co ≈ Cd. The selectivity of strong-acid, macroporous, K-form resin was Ba > Sr > Ca > Cd > Co. Hydrated radius of contaminants influenced the affinity of K-form resins.
