Peppermint water extract (PWE) is rich of phenolic components. The maximum oxidative stress of PWE on radish was at 8% concentration. The maximum activity of antioxidant enzymes in radish was at 8% PWE concentration. The maximum inhibitory effect of PWE on radish growth was at 8% concentration. PWE increased proline, soluble sugars, phenols and relative membrane permeability.
