Phase evolution and cavitation erosion-corrosion behavior of FeCoCrAlNiTix high entropy alloy coatings on 304 stainless steel by laser surface alloying
FeCoCrAlNiTix coatings were prepared on 304 substrate by laser surface alloying. The formation rules of solid solutions in high-entropy alloy were investigated. The microhardness of the coating was at least 3.6 times that of 304 substrate. The mechanism of erosion-corrosion for HEA coatings were investigated.
