Principal components of Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum (ALR) are profiled by FT-IR. Thermal stability of the principal components of ALR is studied by 2D-IR. An identification method for ALR is established based on the spectral correlations. Commercial adulteration methods for ALR are revealed by IR spectral features.
